The manager was very nice and so were the staff. Several were new to canada and missed their families and girlfriends back in punjab.

Excellent value for the money. Pool area was lovely particularly the hot tub. Nothing fancy but clean and warm although the pool could have been a couple of degrees warmer ideally. Otherwise the whole pool area was clean, warm and welcoming. Room was fairly basic but spotless and had everything we needed. Excellent value for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, comfortable and convenient. Liked having pool and hot tub on site and cafe restaurant but was only until 2:00. Coffee and teas in lobby as well as lemonade and cookies. Location is great, can walk to several eateries and stores. 5 mins to the beach by car. Most staff extremely friendly...especially female manager. We stayed a week so didn't ask for room to be cleaned.

Travelodge is located at the main thoroughfare, Rd 21, with convenient shopping and other services nearby. The room was remarkably quiet, with parking at the door. I saw that the restaurant in the motel (that I did not use) was busy. There are a number of restaurants and eateries within walking distance.

This is where I usually stay when I'm in Port Elgin. It meets my needs. Close to everything, staff is friendly. This isn't luxury if that's what you're looking for BUT the pool is open late and the diner for breakfast is great!

Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Fridge and microwave was a great asset to our stay. Generous types of coffee and tea in the lobby. Also the cookies and lemonade at the front desk was a nice welcome. We had an issue with our shower not draining but they sent someone right away to fix it.

I love this location to stay in Port Elgin.... Room is just simple and that is all you need..... Love the drink bar at the front ....as the coffee makers don't work in the room.....

Compared to the small older cottages in Port Elgin, our Travelodge motel stay was an excellent option. Other than not being able to cook, everything else was great and more comfortable than an outdated UN-conditioned cottage. Having the onsite pool and whirlpool was a bonus asset. Front desk staff and cafe restaurant were very friendly.
